Acupuncture

Why use Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a time-tested, holistic medicine that helps to decrease pain and restore function. It is also beneficial for internal conditions like anxiety, gastrointestinal (‘GI’) problems, digestive issues, fertility, allergies and much more. The Science Community is only beginning to grasp how powerful acupuncture is and understand the mechanisms behind it.

Finding out what fits

A consultation is needed with Matt to make sure that Acupuncture is right for you. It’s not for everyone, and it may not even be the thing you need. If it’s not, we may be able to treat your symptoms with another treatment – we’ll assess that as we chat during your consultation.

If it’s right for you, we may be able to perform the treatment right away.

What you can expect

a person holding their back in pain
  • Quick & Painless

The procedure is quick and painless, you're in and out of the office in 35 minutes.

  • Treatment course

The number of procedures you will need will vary based on your specific condition, the amount of time you've had it and will respond to what you need.

  • Accurate evaluation

Once you’re assessed, you’ll get to hear about any issues that’ve been found and be given an estimate of the number of treatments likely needed - based on evidenced clinical data.

  • Process

Depending on the severity of your symptoms, the acupuncture process may be repeated between 2-5 times per week. Once your situation has improved, we’ll move to ‘maintain’ and see you about once or twice a month, to make sure your symptoms don’t relapse.

  • Absence of symptoms

Acupuncture can and often results in a complete absence of symptoms, even in severe pain conditions that have been present for years. This is what we’re striving for.
